From Lori Anne

Thank you seems so deeply insufficient given what we know you are doing day in and day out to support the youth in your programs during this unprecedented time of uncertainty.

But we will try and articulate in a way that communicates the level of respect we have for you and your unwavering commitment to ensure the youth are supported during this time.

~ Thank you for showing up – even if you are uncertain and have concerns yourself.

~ Thank you for being a role model of what humanity should look like in how we are supposed to care for each other in times of crisis.

~ Thank you for leading and acting with your heart to create spaces for youth to feel safe.

~ Thank you for your bravery and courage in all the small and big ways you are giving of yourself at the front line of service to youth.

~ Thank you for being there for each other – your colleagues – when they waver and need to be held up. ~ Thank your for your resourcefulness, tenacity and grit – as things these days – do not go as planned and sometimes we know you are pivoting on the fly.

~ Thank you for creating and sustaining a community of care for youth – it makes a difference – right now – in this moment – but also for the future of this province as this youth are our future.

~ Thank you for “holding the line” for youth – so they too can navigate through this and come out the other end and thrive.

All of the above and more – thank you. We just wanted to reach out and let you know we see you and see how important your contribution is. We are in your debt.

Take care and stay safe.
