You may not know what people are thinking.
Right now, you may not care.
This is because you are too busy with your new reality of head-down, collar against the wind, slogging through this COVID-19 storm.
But there are so many of us that have a very clear sense of what you do, how you do it, and that when it needs to get done – it does.
We just don’t say this to you often enough.
Funny how times of crisis often lead to heightened insight.
I know your work is hard/demanding/exhausting at the best of times.
Working to eradicate the “dis” from “disadvantage” can be so tiring.
And, I know that, given these new circumstances, your responsibilities can be close to too much.
But the point is – I know.
More importantly, your community knows.
We all know.
And we need you to know – that we care and appreciate what you do. Even though we don’t tell you enough.
Thank you for putting your head down, pulling your collar up… and getting it done!
