Like many Nova Scotians, we have been following the progression of Hurricane Lee closely over the last several days. All indications, including the most recent models from the National Hurricane Center, suggest Nova Scotia will begin to see impacts as early as Friday with the storm continuing throughout the weekend.
Guided by our commitment to the health and safety of our youth, staff, and community members, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Phoenix Fall Festival to a later date. This was not an easy decision, but after following several sources on weather news, consultation with local contacts, and extensive discussion with our teams, we feel this is the best way to keep our community safe in the coming days.

Come one, come all to the Phoenix Fall Festival! This is an inclusive community event that promises fun for all ages and it’s FREE to attend!
Cheer on the teams at our Washer Toss Tournament and grab a free lunch at our Food Fair! Check out the mini games at the Family Fun Zone presented by IWK Health, or stop by the Community Corner presented by Manulife for a live art workshop with Trackside Studios! There’s something for everyone at the Phoenix Fall Festival!
