As a result of your kindness and generosity, we could continue to thoughtfully connect with youth and be a familiar pillar of support even when physically separated, and despite systematic challenges.

This is meant to be a quick guide and does not pretend to include each and every term, or even every definition for some of these words. On this inaugural National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we recognize and reflect upon the tragic history and ongoing legacy of the Canadian residential school system. Up until 1996 over 150,000 children were forced to attend residential schools across Canada. Thousands, estimates range from 3200-6000, didn't return home, and those who did were left with the effects of severe, persistent trauma.
